Concept

The book's underlying concept is described as "delightful." The author, Dr. Fujii, kindly shared with me the inspiration behind this theme, which then led to the creation of the painting. The image is imbued with a sense of brightness and warmth, evoking a feeling of comfort and joy. It is as if one is experiencing a heartwarming dream. In that place, the birds are free! Against the orange background, white innocent birds are flying freely.

Given that the book is about healthcare for the elderly, the cover evokes a somewhat nostalgic feeling. It is my hope that the dream I deliver will inspire you to immerse yourself in this world forever. I painted a vision for the cover that suggests a feeling of medical care that warms the heart and cures illness from the heart.

表①

Outside Front Cover with Book Obi

I experimented with a new color palette, going for warm yellow and orange, and I carefully positioned the birds to make it look just as if they were flying away.

I also incorporated a unique character that can only be found by those who flip this yellow book obi.

The sight of birds flying in flocks in the forest is a beautiful reminder of the joy of friendship.

The birds in the lake are arranged in the center, and together with the obi, create a sense of harmony.
